During the last 15 years of experience in long range shooting,with 308 Win,30-06 and 300 Win Mag,I can freely and without hesitation say that 190 GRS SMK is one of the Best bullets I ever used. Holding group,side window resist, energy at Target ...if you compare it with Many new,modern SF products, 10 GRS SMK is second to none.For some reason,during Competition, Sierra bullets don't overheat the barrel like Lapua does
Why,I don't know,but it is a fact Performance is Sierra's big plus,but they ( unfortunately ) have one minus. Difference in Ogive from Lot to Lot is sometimes big,and they should find the way to solve this problem. But,the same problem ovutrs with Lapua,Nosler,Barnes and all the rest producers.
